DLP Design, Inc., a privately-held corporation based in McKinney, Texas, has been in business since 2000. Our goal is to provide hardware and software solutions that make it easy for engineers and hobbyists to interface to a host computer via USB. Our products include USB adapters, USB security dongles, development and evaluation boards, temperature/humidity sensors and RF/RFID products. Our signature line of USB adapter boards (and their royalty-free drivers) offer customers a variety of options to interface with serial, parallel, single- and dual-channel platforms and multiple mechanical interfaces to accommodate numerous types of connectivity. Typical implementation requires a minimal learning curve and presents a surprisingly fast time to market.

DLP Design products are primarily distributed within the US via Allied Electronics, Mouser Electronics, Digi-Key Corporation and Saelig Company—and internationally via distributors listed on our website.

Areas of Expertise

DLP Design’s expertise is quite broad, but we are first and foremost a company that helps our customers utilize USB technology. We can provide USB peripheral hardware design and manufacturing involving everything from low-cost I/O boards and data-acquisition modules to wireless products and RFID reader/writers. We have Windows-based software application and data-processing algorithm design expertise as well as experience in RFID reader/writer product design and manufacturing utilizing LF, HF and UHF technologies. Our engineering team offers more than 40 years’ combined experience in designing for the commercial, datacom, telecom and general market sectors; and we have created numerous, successful custom designs for specific customer applications ranging from initial conception through large-scale production.
