Serializer Program FTD2XXST (For AM Parts Only)
(original release) This program writes VID, PID, and description strings
into the EEPROM which is connected to the FT8U245AM.
This program is based on the D2XX drivers
and will work on Win '98, Win ME and Win 2000 platforms. You must
download and install the latest release (see above) of the D2XX "Direct"
drivers in order to run this application. If the VCP drivers are installed
on your PC they must be uninstalled and the D2XX drivers installed
prior to running this utility.
Please Note - this utility is intended for use by manufacturers and
not by end-users (customers) of the products.

Design Test Application
DLPTest (V1.0c Rel:4-4-02) This developer's tool communicates with
both the FT8U245AM and FT8U232AM devices using either the Virtual
Com
Port or DLL version of FTDI's drivers.
Simply connect an FTDI device to the USB port, load the drivers you
want to use (VCP or DLL) and immediately start sending bytes of data
to the target. Any data returned from your target electronics is presented
on the screen in a List box and optionally logged to a datafile.
DLPTest is free to all DLP Design and FTDI customers. This program
runs under Windows 98/ME/2000.

with Windows 98/2000 to download firmware to the DLP-IO16 and DLP-IO26.

LED Demonstration Software (Plus Button)
USBTest8xxb (Ver 1.1 Release 12-17-01) Visual C++ source code for
the LED blink programming example for both the DLP-IO16 and DLP-IO26
with a demonstration of how to use the test button. The executable
file, C source for the microcontroller and the HEX file are all in
the Release directory. Application software updated (12/17/01) with
extended timeouts and tests that prevent trying to use the USB port
while it is busy.
